I am Atif Aninda Rahman from Dhaka, Bangladesh, an aspiring researcher in geographic information science and transportation. I completed my undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning, building a strong foundation in GIS, remote sensing, geospatial intelligence, and transportation planning. My research interests span GIS, urban mobility, accessibility, remote sensing and image analysis, ecosystem services, and advanced geospatial tools and machine learning models. I have over six years of experience using GIS and geospatial tools for spatial analysis and research purposes.
I have recently begun my Master’s program in Geographic Information Science (GIS) at the University of Denver, where I am also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Geography and the Environment. I am proficient in ArcGIS Pro, Google Earth Engine, Python, SQL and various data analysis techniques, and I aim to advance my expertise through graduate research to contribute to sustainable urban development and innovative solutions in geospatial science and transportation planning.
